Service

  • Wireless High Speed Internet services are provided via microwave communication from distribution points located on farm cooperatives, water towers, and radio towers to reception antennas located on your home.
  • Service is provided via line of sight technology. There must be a clear line of sight form your location to the transmission location. Contact the sales office with questions and to identify transmission locations. (See High Foliage Areas for non-line of sight options.)
  • Service is not provide with a satellite connection.
  • Service does not require a phone line.

Rural Developments

Signature Wireless Internet specializes in providing service to rural developments. Contact the sales office to discuss your specific situation. Typically, we can deliver service more quickly than cable and DSL (phone company).

High Foliage Areas

  • Signature Wireless Internet specializes in providing service to high foliage areas and non-line of sight locations. Contact the sales office to discuss your specific situation. Typically, 10-15 customers are required to implement a site specific solution.
  • Signature Wireless Internet currently provides non-line of sight service in numerous locations. Contact the sales office to see if we have you covered.

Troubleshooting/Connectivity Issues

  • Internet is slow
    • Verify that you do not have multiple browser windows open that may be using bandwidth.
    • Close other applications running concurrently on your computer
    • Close all applications and restart your computer
  • Cannot access the internet
    • Disconnect the power cord from the power adaptor

      for 30 second and then reconnect. This will reset the wireless Internet antenna. Check to see if you have access to the internet
    • If you have a wireless router

      , turn off or unplug the router for 30 seconds and then reconnect. This will reset the wireless router

      . (note: Do not ‘reset’ the wireless router

      . This will reset all your configuration settings.) Check to see if you have access to the Internet.
    • Restart your computer. Check to see if you have access to the internet.
    • Call Signature Wireless Internet tech support at 888-963-9929. Press 6 for Signature Wireless Internet then press 2 for technical support. If there is a know outage, you will receive a message noting the affected area and the probably time for resolution. If you are not affected by an outage, stay on the line for online technical support from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday.

Setup – customer requirements

  • Customer must provide computer with available network plug (RJ 22)
  • Customer provides access and location for installer to route data cable from roof or wall mounted antenna to location of computer or router.
  • Customer provides access to their computer for technician to set up and configure Internet connection.

Weather Interruptions

  • Signature Wireless Internet service is not affected by rain, clouds, fog or snow.
  • Review the weather statement regarding repairs and service during inclement weather.

Data/download

  • There are no limits on the quantity of data that can be downloaded or uploaded.
  • There are no speed adjustments made based on the volume of downloads.
  • There are no additional charges for data beyond a predefined limit.

Webmail

  • Open Internet Explorer and go to:http://mail.signatureblue.com
  • Username is the first part of the e-mail address (before the @ sign)3
  • Password is your email password.
  • Call tech support at 888-963-9929 for password resets.

Outlook Express SMTP Authentication

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Cick Tools
  3. Click Accounts
  4. Double Click your email account
  5. Click the Server tab
  6. Check the box toward the bottom next to "My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication"
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Close
  9. Try to send mail

Outlook Express Setup

  1. Open Outlook Express. You should be able to find this in Start… Programs (or All Programs)
  2. Click “Tools”
  3. Click “Accounts”
  4. Click “Add” at the top right of the Internet Accounts Window
  5. Click “Mail” from the drop down list to the right of the Add button
  6. The Internet Connection Wizard window opens
  7. Type your name in the box next to “Display name:” (as you would like it to appear to the people you send email to)
  8. Click “Next”
  9. Type your email address in the box next to “E-Mail address:”
  10. Click “Next”
  11. Your incoming mail server is a POP3 server. This is the default so you shouldn’t have to change anything.
  12. Enter mail.signatureblue.com in the box under “Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:”
  13. Enter mail.signatureblue.com in the box under “Outging mail (SMTP) server:”
  14. Click “Next”
  15. In the box next to “Account name:” enter your username. (Your username is your email address without @signatureblue.com) (if your email address is jdoe@signatureblue.com then your username is jdoe
  16. Enter your password un the box next to “Password:”
  17. Make sure the box for “Remember password” is checked
  18. Click “Next”
  19. Click “Finish”
  20. Now you are back to the Internet Accounts window.
  21. Click the account you just made once. (If there are more than one listed here, please click the one that says mail.signatureblue.com)
  22. Click the “Properties” button on the right
  23. Click the “Servers” tab at the top
  24. Toward the bottom, under “Outgoing Mail Server” Check the box next to “My server requires authentication”
  25. Click “OK”
  26. You are back to the Internet Accounts window again
  27. Click “Close”
  28. Your mail is now setup in Outlook Express
